Bryan Strike, MS, MTx, CFP®, CPA, PFS (Financial Planner)
Bryan’s educational pursuits began at Georgia State University in 2000 where he obtained a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a focus on accounting. After graduating a year early he took an internship at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) followed by over 3 years of work in their Personal Financial Services Group. During this time, he obtained both a Master’s in Taxation and a Master’s of Science in Personal Financial Planning.
In addition to obtaining two Masters degrees, Bryan obtained his CPA designation, has successfully completed levels 1 and 2 of the CFA examination, received the CFP® designation, and completed several other licensing exams for the state of Georgia.
In the Personal Financial Services group at PwC, Bryan worked primarily on individual income tax returns, personal financial planning, and investment advisory. Bryan’s experience at PwC includes preparing analysis for clients and consulting directly with their other advisors. He also presented financial planning seminars to large groups of clients at several well-known U.S. companies. Bryan also instructed national tax conferences and was a valued Team Leader for the national financial planning program.
After PwC curtailed their Atlanta financial planning practice, Bryan continued working in the financial planning field for the next 3 years by providing financial solutions in the areas of retirement planning, risk management and insurance, investments, estate planning, tax planning and education funding.
Bryan is active in the community and enjoys sharing his knowledge with others. In addition to teaching at his alma mater, Bryan helped prepare students to sit for the CFP® exam, teaching courses for such prestigious universities as NYU, UGA, Rice, Northwestern, and UCLA, in addition to developing content for such courses. Bryan currently teaches online classes as well as CFP® review courses for Kaplan.
Bryan’s primary responsibility with KFAC consists of developing comprehensive financial planning strategies for clients. Bryan is a member of the FPA, the AICPA, and a member of the Georgia society of both organizations.
In his free time Bryan loves to read, rock climb, and spend time with his beautiful wife (Katie) and daughter (Charlie).
